We started Lares with a clear purpose: to create a natural, plant-based drink with no chemicals, no caffeine crashes, and nothing fake. It’s made with real plants and fruit, and with care for nature, the very source of all this goodness.
Crafted by one incredible plant: Sugarcane
Common in tropical countries, sugarcane has a rich history dating back 10,000 years. Over time, the ancient Greeks called it “reeds that produce honey without bees,” while European empires later dubbed it “white gold.” Loved for its healing properties, it remains a popular street drink across Brazil, Asia and Egypt. That’s where we first tried it and were hooked from the very first sip.
And guess what? We’re not the only ones…
Elephants love it too!
It turns out we’re not the only ones who love sugarcane, wild elephants do too! So much so that they’ve been known to stop sugarcane trucks and help themselves to a snack, trunk first.
That image stuck with us. So we made a promise: to give back to these majestic animals. That’s why 5% of our profits go directly to elephant conservation efforts in Asia, along with 50% profits from our limited-edition merchandise drop. (Coming soon!)
